Snorkeling and visit of Chavon River

Half day boat trip snorkeling to Coralina Reef and Atlantic Princess wreck, and wildlife watching at Chavon River

 During this half-day boat trip, you will snorkel at 2 different sites: Coralina Reef, and the wreck of the Atlantic Princess, where you will see many fishes. Then, our boat will navigate on Rio Chavon, a famous river that was the location of some Hollywood movies, like Anaconda, Rambo, Apocalypse Now and Jurassic Park III. You will admire magnificent wild landscapes, and observe birds such as pelicans, vultures, fish eagles. If you’re lucky, you might come across Pepe the manatee or our friend the iguana.

Our passionate diving/snorkeling instructor will accompany you and teach you snorkeling or freediving depending on your level, so that you can see as many fish and corals as possible. If the sea conditions allow it, you will also be able to see a coral nursery and we will give you all the explanations on the coral restoration project in the region.

This half-day boat eco-tour is done on our small boat, Wanda (max. 6 people) or our medium boat, Explorer (max. 10-12 people), so always in very small groups! It is possible to privatise the boat for your group/family for a reasonable price.
